Rector: Rev Simon Faulks
Simon joined the Boscastle Group of Churches as Rector on 1st September 2025. He has spent a number of years in church and charity-based youth and children’s work before being ordained in 2011. Both in his youth work and since ordination, he has served in both suburban/urban large single parishes and in rural multi-parish contexts. Simon felt a strong sense of call to these Cornish parishes and this role and considers it a real privilege to serve God and his church in such a beautiful place.
Simon is married to Gill, and together they have 3 grown-up children.
His interests include storytelling (particularly finding creative ways to tell and explore Bible stories), circus and illusion (which play a significant part in the storytelling). He also keeps chickens and has a strange fascination with red telephone boxes.
